Democracy : Back to 70's

A former President of a country committed suicide. I guess that's very shocking news. Korea's former President Roh Moo Hyun committed suicide about a month ago. It has been quite long time after that, but I'd like to say how I felt that day. I attend the funeral near city hall during the one week of funeral days. Here are some pictures of that day. Sorry about the bad quality. I took them with my cellphone.

People were preaching on the street. On the street that day, I felt like I traveled back time to 1970s. In Korea '70s was period of establishing out democracy. There were many protests and movements. After President Roh's period, Our democracy went back to that time. Most of citizens are against the government. Recently there is a big protest happening in Iran during the election. There are many Twitter users who participating this issue. The scenes from there will look very familiar to Korean people. Our democracy is at stake as theirs. I'm not sure that this atmosphere will last long or It will end as just short buzz. But we all learned something from this case. Things have to be changed. I'm thinking. What can we do together?
